Well I am, of course. For those of you I haven’t met yet, my name’s Ian Duncan. I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, but now I live here in Montreal, Quebec. This site is all about my life here and my work running our studio where we produce Videoboys and Squirtz. Here on my site you’ll find a mix of personal stories going waaayyyy back (although I’m still getting them ready to post here so give me some time to catch up), and some sneak peeks at the great new videos we’re making here. And of course, whatever hot new stuff is being made by other studios, I’ll be happy to show it off here too for you to enjoy. Just to let you know a little more, here are some facts about me and my life…
- I was born in Hamilton, Ontario on October 15th, 1975 (so I’m a Libra) and moved to Montreal, Quebec when I was 24.
- I started Videoboys when I was 18, right after graduating from highschool.
- I ran away from home at 15 because of severe abuse there from both my parents, and I never saw them again.
- I came out as gay at 14, and it didn’t go well with my parents or sister at all. But I had good friends who stood by me. And these days it’s just not an issue anywhere I go. It’s nice to see how life has changed so much for the better over the years. :)
- I did some movies for Videoboys for a few years and lots and lots of live shows for our site Montreal Boys Live for about 3 years, back when we were doing that. But now I’m just behind the camera videotaping the scenes for Videoboys, and that’s something I really love doing.
