Hi guys, well I made it to Mexico safe and sound and have truly been having one of the best times of my whole life here. I really needed this vacation, and so far it’s been incredbly amazing. I really do love this city so much, even though I’ve already been here so many times.

My friend Edgar and his boyfriend Pablo have been taking great care of me and making sure I know where everything is. But also I’ve been finding my own way around pretty well too in this insane, ginormous city. And the food, holy cow, the food…. ugggh, I don’t know how I’ll live witout it when I leave. It’s so beyond delicious, I can’t get enough. And it’s dirt cheap! A plate of five tacos al pastor, which is unbelievably tasty, costs just 2 Canadian dollars. So I’m stuffing my face everywhere I go, lol.

And I’ve done so many things so far, it feels like I’ve been here for over a week but it’s just been two days so far. And I already have over 500 pictures and videos, and some really nice ones too. So I’ll be sure to put those all up when I get  home, and put my videos on YouTube and embed them here on my site so you can see the real life Mexico, with all the speed and sounds and wildness.

But enough wildness for one day, it’s time for me to sleep so I will say goodnight. I just couldn’t resist making one post to let you know how much fun I’ve been having. But I still have four more days of it, so I’ll regail you with those stories when I get home, OK?

Sweet dreams!  xoxo

Hi Maurice, thanks for the travel advice for my next trip to Mexico. I’ll check out “Living” next time I’m there. I heard about it already but never got the chance to see it. So next time for sure. :) I’ve already been to San Cristobal de las Casas when I was 16, on a trip with my boyfriend, and I bought a beautiful Mexican blanket there that I still snuggle up in on cold nights, even 17 years after I bought it. It still looks like new actually.

But although I’ve been to Oaxaca a few times, I’ve never heard of Lagunas de Chacahua. And I would very, very much like to get back to Oaxaca soon, because it’s such a beautiful, peaceful place and I have wonderful memories of the time I spent there. And don’t worry, I’ll be sure to bring my camera. On my last trip to Mexico, which was just 6 days, I took over 1000 photos and so may videos, lol.

But thank you again for the advice, I always appreciate hearing about new things I should see. :)
